Awareness talk delivered to employees at BRIT Insurance

Foundation delivers talk to staff at BRIT Insurance

We’d like to thank BRIT Insurance for inviting us in to deliver a talk about the the dangers of religious and cultural homophobia, LGBTQ+ ‘honour’ based abuse, and the work we do at Naz and Matt Foundation.

Charities like the Naz and Matt Foundation play a crucial role in delivering awareness talks in corporate environments. The workplace is an environment where people from different backgrounds and with different lived experiences come together. It is essential that all employees feel valued, respected, and safe at work.

By delivering LGBTQ+ awareness talks, charities can help increase understanding of the challenges some of their employees might be experiencing outside of work, and in the family environment. This can help to create a more inclusive workplace where everyone feels comfortable and supported, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Furthermore, it’s important for corporate allies to support the LGBTQ+ community.

Allies are individuals who do not identify as LGBTQ+, but who support and advocate for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. Allies can play an important role in creating a more inclusive society by standing up against discrimination and promoting acceptance and equality.

By supporting the LGBTQ+ community, allies can help to create a world where everyone is treated with respect and dignity, where people are free to be themselves and are not judged based on their sexual orientation or gender identity.

We’d especially like to thank BRIT Insurance for their kind and generous donation. This will go directly towards the running costs of our vital work in the community.

Thank you x
