Today we joined the LGBTQ+ community in solidarity to protest against the homophobic, anti-gay agenda of Home Secretary Suella Braverman.
If we don’t stop her actions, and those of the Conservative UK Government countless lives will be lost, and LGBTQ+ rights in the UK will be taken back to a dangerous new level.

Now’s the time that we as a community must stand up against Suella, and the hate she and her colleagues continues to create against our siblings.
We must hold the UK government accountable for its growing hostility towards the LGBTQ+ community.
Today’s protested Parliament Square, London was organised by Pride in London and African Rainbow Family and was attended by hundreds of people from across the country making their voices heard.

Why are we protesting?
Our Prime Minister still hasn’t banned conversion therapy.
Our Prime Minister has openly mocked the trans community and is pursuing an agenda that will make the lives of trans individuals even more unbearable.
And now our Home Secretary states that fleeing your country in fear of LGBTQ+ discrimination is not sufficient to qualify for protection.
Our government needs to support everyone, not just those with privilege, and we won’t stop until our community is protected.
