Naz and Matt Foundation and 48 fabulous volunteers marched through the streets of the UK capital for London Pride on Saturday the 7th of July 2018.
We marched to raise awareness about the devastating impact of religious and cultural homophobia on individuals born into families who place more importance on their own beliefs than their own child.
We marched in memory of my darling Naz, Dr Nazim Mahmood.
Thank you to every single person that marched with us on that day and continue support our mission of bringing religious parents and their LGBTQI+ children closer together.

Marching alongside our friends
Matt set up the Naz and Matt Foundation in memory of his soulmate and fiancé, Naz, who passed away two days after being confronted about his sexuality by his religious parents. It was the first time that they knew their son was gay, in a relationship with Matt for 13 years and that they were planning to get married.
