Gaydio Radio interview about Naz & Matt Foundation’s schools outreach work

Chris Holliday from Gaydio (the UK’s largest LGBT radio station) caught up with Matt, from Naz and Matt Foundation, about some of the recent campaigning the charity has been doing.

This included several recent talks at secondary schools in Oldham about the dangers of religion and culturally triggered homophobia, and a two hour talk in Islington for LGBT History Month.

Matt set up the Naz and Matt Foundation in memory of his soulmate and fiancé, Naz, who passed away two days after being confronted about his sexuality by his religious parents. It was the first time that they knew their son was gay, in a relationship with Matt for 13 years and that they were planning to get married.
